    The MoU signed with Ozone Cell of MoCC will result in developing a state of the art 3-D exhibit at PMNH for highlighting the importance of Ozone layer, its functions and the threats to it as the result of anthropogenic activities. The message will be conveyed to the students and general public visiting the Museum Display Galleries

  • MoU with Snow Leopard Foundation, Pakistan (2010)

    Snow Leopard Foundation, Pakistan is working for conservation of large carnivore animals like Snow Leopard, Common Leopard and other wild cats. They are using modern techniques like camera trapping and radio collaring. This MoU is helping PMNH in collecting data of carnivores which is otherwise difficult by using traditional methods

  • MoU with HagllerBailly, Pakistan (2010)

    HagllerBailly, Pakistan is the only pioneer registered company working in private sector for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the mega projects of the country like Kishanganga Hydropower Project, Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Project, Thar Coal Project, Oil and Gas Exploration projects in NARA Desert and Kirther National Park. PMNH scientists conduct the ecological studies and the specimens collected through different field works preserved and documented at PMNH

  • MoU with Zoological Survey Department, Karachi (2010)

    A MoU was signed with Zoological Survey Department resulted in transfer of valuable collection of natural history specimens from to the faunal repositories of Zoological Sciences Division of Pakistan Museum of Natural History, Islamabad. This valuable collection is from the pre-partition time dating back to 1902 onward. This has almost doubled the collection of the PMNH.

  • MoU with Centre for Pure and Applied Geology, University of Sindh, Jamshoro and Earth Sciences Division, Pakistan Museum of Natural History Islamabad (PMNH)
  • MoU with Pakistan Wetlands Programme( 2007)

    The MoU was for exploration of the fauna and flora of the 300 wetlands and 19 Ramsar sites in the country. All the specimens collected during these field studies have been housed at Faunal and Floral Repositories of PMNH.
